Spring 2017 CTSA Program Meeting
The goal of the Spring 2017 Meeting is to engage the Clinical and Translational Science Awards (CTSA) Program community in uncovering grand opportunities in clinical and translational science by providing a facilitated and structured opportunity that is designed to:
- Deepen shared understanding of current challenges in clinical and translational science and to
- Stimulate collective brainstorming to identify grand opportunities in clinical and translational science.
The theme of the 2017 CTSA Program Spring Meeting will be:
Uncovering Grand Opportunities in Translational Science
The meeting will provide ample opportunities for interaction and generation of innovative and grand ideas across the consortium from all meeting participants. C4 is currently working on identifying appropriate space at the meeting with smaller break-out rooms and the identification of an experienced facilitator to help us with this meeting.
We need your help!
In order to efficiently engage and focus the more than 300 participants it will be essential to solicit ideas ahead of the meeting about what are the grand opportunities for significantly advancing clinical and translational science. Several ideas selected by the Program Planning Committee will be addressed as topics for discussions in the breakout rooms. We encourage you to think GRANDLY and submit your ideas through our Data Collection Instrument form. Multiple entries are encouraged if you have multiple ideas from all of our CTSA hub stakeholders! Please disseminate this request widely. The CTSA Program Meeting Planning Committee sincerely thanks you for taking the time to respond to this solicitation. Note that there will be no solicitation for abstracts or posters for this meeting due to the close proximity of the meeting with the Association for Clinical and Translational Science Meeting.
